Llamas for Sale

I hate to part with them but we do not have the time required to spend with them.    They have all been well cared for and handle smoothly with a halter and lead rope.  Could be used for hiking and we have had them out on the trails behind our house.  The females have been kept with our goats and have been excellent guards.  Shearing them is a chore and unless you have experience, I suggest hiring it done.  They are $550 each or $3000.00 for the whole herd.

"Ramone"
Unregistered Suri Male
Born September 2004
$550.00
Must go to someone experienced with llamas.
Ramone was our 1st llama at Slate Brook Farm.  He came as a surprise to us at 8 months of age with the delivery of our first three myotonic goats and instantly won our hearts.  Ramone carries the grace and high spirit of his Sire Avalancher as well has his beautiful soft, silky fiber.   He gave us three beautiful cria Spring 09.

"Rosey"
Unregistered Peruvian Female
Date of Birth:   June 21, 2003
Fiber:  Locked and Silky
Dam: Peruvian Salta
Sire: CCC Peruvian Pvt. Pfestor

Rosey came to Slate Brook Farm in August 2006 and we are very excitied about her.  Rosey is full peruvian and is a very pretty lady.  She has nicely locked "rosey" colored fiber with grey highlights.  She comes from excellent blood lines and I've been told by her previous owner that she is unrelated to most peruvian males in the country.  She is an excellent guard to our female fainters and her calm, gentle disposition works very well with them.
