Students learn how to become an organisation’s best asset by successfully coordinating people, projects and resources. Students acquire the skills to become an effective manager. While learning about management in the context of economics, marketing, entrepreneurship, sustainability, ethics, corporate social responsibility and globalisation, students also get the chance to put theory into practice during consultancy projects.

Course details

Year 1

Students gain a solid understanding of management in a business and enterprise context, focusing on areas such as organisational behaviour, economics, accounting, entrepreneurship and marketing. Students also look into the ethical and sustainability issues of business, and complete a consultancy project.

Year 2

Students develop employability skills further by focusing on the practical techniques for managing people, operations, resources and projects, and their own career. Students also develop an understanding of professional development and employment planning, and hone vital decision making and research skills.

Final year

The final year provides students with a lot of choice and the opportunity to study topics they are really interested in and/or want to specialise in. By choosing from a wide range of modules, students can tailor their degree and graduate with a specialist qualification. Modules and specialisms available include: entrepreneurship, marketing, international business and management, human resource management and leadership, and project management. Students also complete a research or consultancy project, which is also in an area of their choice.
