Teaching
I have taught on the University's Masters in Clinical Education (MClinEd), especially on the Post-Graduate Diploma level course 'Assessment in Clinical Education. My teaching relates to medical remediation and the assessment of validity in medical education. This covers a range of educational, psychological and psychometric theories. The course attracts a wide variety of students from clinical professionals and applied health care and intercalating medical students. In addition, I ran the administration of this course and was responsible for the benchmark and marking of assignments on assessment design and reflective critical pieces. I also teach a Student Selected Unit (SSU) in the philosophy of diagnosis, medical humanities and medicine in society. I am a tutor on the dental school's MSc Oral Surgery.Â
