About Mahrukh


As the Deputy Programme Lead for the Masters in Clinical Education (MClinEd), I am involved in overseeing the MClinEd programme within the Medical School, Faculty of Health. Additionally, I contribute to teaching across the following three programmes:
  • Masters in Clinical Education
  • Masters in Healthcare Management, Leadership and Innovation
  • Masters in Global and Remote Healthcare
My research interests primarily focus on widening participation, inclusivity, and diversity in clinical education, technology-enhanced learning, digital health, and digital education. Specifically, I explore how these factors contribute to enhancing educational opportunities and reducing disparities within healthcare training. I am the Chair of the Racial Equality Charter
I am also the Co-Chair of the Faculty of Health’s Research Ethics and Integrity Committee (FREIC, Taught Masters)
