In this session, Kevin and Martyn will address the broader impact of academic-industry collaboration in accelerating business growth in the offshore renewable energy (ORE) sector.
They will explore how diverse research initiatives enhance R&D within the ORE industry, focusing on how modern, state-of-the-art facilities contribute to de-risking and optimising the development and deployment of new technologies.

ORE Supergen Hub
Extensive research is already addressing the complex challenges in offshore wind, wave, and tidal energy. Overcoming these hurdles demands a connected offshore renewable energy community where collaboration between researchers and industry is strong and knowledge is openly shared.
Join this session to stay updated on the latest research, influence future priorities, and help bridge the gap between innovation and real-world application.
The session will also introduce Supergen's new Early Career Network, designed to offer vital support, resources, and networking opportunities for professionals in the first six years of their career in the offshore renewable energy sector.
Led by the ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ, the Supergen Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) Hub is a government-funded initiative driving groundbreaking research in offshore wind, wave, and tidal energy. It serves as a bridge between academia, industry, and key stakeholders, working to develop innovative solutions and address critical challenges in the sector.
