The Cube team are available for drop-ins at our new Enterprise Hub, Room 003, on the Ground Floor of the Fitzroy Building, Monday – Thursday between 09:00–17:00 and Friday 09:00–16:00.

As part of Discovery Week students can learn the basics of how to become a freelancer and how to grow their established freelance career. We will focus on what is freelancing, what are the benefits and challenges, who are your customers, how do you set your pricing, and what are the legal/insurance requirements. Meet other freelancers and join a WhatsApp community.

30 minute 1:1 consultation to answer all your business startup/development and financial management questions. Jay is a partner at TS Partners (Accountancy and Business Advice) with a wealth of experience in the business development sector, having co-founded a multi-million-pound business previously. Get advice on starting a new business or developing a business; becoming self-employed or a freelancer; options and help you to plan your business’s future; business financial management and planning; covering financial record keeping, accountancy, tax, R&D tax credits and funding options; and understanding and developing your cashflow, sales forecast, profit and loss account etc.

Business Explore Club (19–23 May)
As part of Discovery Week, the Business Explore Club is a week of activity designed for students and graduates who want to gain the skills and knowledge to explore a business idea to see if it is viable with growth potential.
Get in the business mindset with our four day Boot Camp Programme where you will learn the basics of how to explore the viability of a new product or service idea ready to pitch for £1,000 in start-up funding at the end of the week.
This programme is open to those with a business idea and those who just want to get the know-how on how to start a business to further develop their creative skills and business acumen to maximise future career potential.
