Our world is analogue, so understanding how to take information in the form of electronics signals and amplify, filter and measure them before sampling to the digital domain is key to all our modern technologies. What’s the difference between BEng and MEng?
- A three year degree, with the potential for it to be four years with a placement year
- Accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology on behalf of the Engineering Council for the purposes of fully meeting the academic requirement for registration as an Incorporated Engineer and partly meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered Engineer.

One of the main reasons why I chose to study BEng (Hons) Robotics at Plymouth was because there is a lot of lab time. A lot of time to put our learning into practice.
