Registration

Ticket booking opens: Monday 13 October 2025 at 10:00
Ticket booking closes: Monday 27 October 2025 at 10:00
Ticket refund deadline – Wednesday 26 November 2025 at 10:00
All bookings must be made by Monday 27 October 2025. After this date, any remaining tickets will be put on general release for graduates that have requested extra tickets. If you have not booked tickets for yourself and your guests by Monday 27 October, we cannot guarantee your attendance.

Gown hire and photography 

Tickets and gowns can be collected from the Roland Levinsky Building, main campus, on the day of your ceremony.
Please note - tickets will not be posted to you in advance.
  • Ede & Ravenscroft is the official photographer for the ceremonies.
  • Photographs can be taken at the Roland Levinsky Building, main campus, on the day of your ceremony.
  • Ede and Ravenscroft are the official gown suppliers for the ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓÆµ from whom the University receives a commission. We are aware of some unofficial gown providers that take payment but do not deliver the gown, or they provide an extremely poor-quality garment which may not be in the official university colours.

Eligibility

You may not attend your ceremony if you have any outstanding tuition fee debts. These must be cleared by 17 November 2025 in order to be eligible to attend.
Students and guests are responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements and other costs, and should ensure that such arrangements include appropriate cancellation and amendment rights, or that they have obtained appropriate insurance to cover such cancellation, amendments or losses.

Important information about receiving your certificate

Collaborative programmes

If you studied a collaborative programme with a partner institution, please contact your institution for information about your certificate.

Non-collaborative programmes

Once your award has been conferred, your degree certificate will be posted to the home address you have registered on your student portal. Please ensure this information is up to date and correct. You can update your home address by logging in to the . 
Certificates posted to UK addresses are sent using Royal Mail second class. Certificates posted to international addresses are sent using standard international airmail (this is not a tracked service and can take up to 28 days to arrive). 
If your home address is overseas and you wish to receive your certificate by tracked DHL Express Worldwide courier, please contact examsandawards@plymouth.ac.uk, who will guide you accordingly. Please note that the cost for tracked DHL delivery is £20.
